$675 Monthly Affordable Sublet <15 minute walk from campus
- Row home/house has 5 bedrooms total but ONLY ONE BEDROOM IS BEING LISTED AS A SUBLET!
- Pre-existing roommates are very kind and clean. We would prefer a subletter/roommate who is pet-free, quiet and studious, smoking-free, and cleanly due to the... amount of shared space. We are open to graduate students and other undergraduates.
- House as one half bath on the first floor, a full bathroom on the second floor (subletter must share with 3 other roommates), and a full bathroom on third floor (occupied by pre-existing roommate though; not accessible to incoming subletter).
- UTILITIES: Utilities are not included in the $775 rent, but utilities usually total to $100-$150 a month per person for all 5 housemates! Trash and recycling are included in the rent. Gas, electric, water, and wifi bills are split 5 ways (between the subletter and the 4 other pre-existing roommates). The house has central heating and air conditioning (which are paid for as part of the electric bill). Washer and dryer are included in unit, and they are in the basement of the house (which is paid for as part of the water and electric bill).
- FURNITURE AND APPLIANCES: Furniture in bedroom (desk, study chair, bed/bedframe, etc.) IS included in the sublet (if moving in prior to December 1st) otherwise they will be up for sale at very reasonable, low prices! Kitchen is recently renovated, with a fridge, freezer, 2 pantries, cabinet storage and a dishwasher. Roommates also have some appliances such as a microwave and airfryer for communal use. The furniture in the room available for sublet will likely not be included, but it is negotiable!
- SAFETY: the house is under JHU patrol, which means the security guards are active in that area for added security and safety for students.
- JHU SHUTTLE: There is a JHU shuttle stop within a 10 minute walk from the house at the corner of University Parkway and St. Paul street, in front of University One condominium.
- PARKING: (already included in $775 rent) behind the row-home is available free of charge.
- HOUSE MAINTENANCE: Maintenance is covered in the $775 rent, unless it is due to negligence (for example, if the fridge or oven breaks the landlord would cover that free of charge, but if a huge hole is kicked in the wall that is something that the landlord would change for). The house also has 24 hour emergency maintenance and all other maintenance is handled by the landlord Monday-Friday 8am-4pm. There is a staff of 10 people available for those days.
PAYMENT INFORMATION: - Sublet base rent is $775/month (no utilities included in rent, additional utility fees depending on usage do apply for a monthly total of $100-$150).
