The bathroom has a shower and claw-foot, roll-top, bathtub. There are window air-conditioner units for sitting room and bedroom; a washing machine, dryer, and storage space, in basement; and wireless internet. The beautiful house has a large front porch with table, chairs and a swing seat.
What about parking? If you have a car, you will apply to Baltimore City for a residential parking permit for on-street parking.
Convenience of the location: The location is only a 5 min walk to the shuttle bus to the medical campus, and a 10 min walk to the Homewood campus. Within 10 min walk are grocery stores, pharmacy, hardware store, dry cleaners, Barnes & Noble campus bookstore, chocolate shop, and restaurants. We're just two blocks away from a wonderful open-air farmers market (Saturday mornings), 10 min walk to the Baltimore Museum of Art, and only a 10 min drive to Penn train station.
Who is the property owner? The owner, is a Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine faculty member. She lives in the 1st and 2nd floor of the house, and is attentive and responsive.
Other information you may like to know: You will establish an account with the utility company BG&E for your gas and electricity. The property is taken care of by the property owner and trusted contractors. No smoking, no drugs, no guns or other weapons, no noisy parties! A safe and comfortable home is essential.
