Where do I even start? Arnie, Venetia, and the entire maintenance team are absolutely incredible! They are a major reason I decided to stay at The Crescent. As someone living alone, having a safe environment, excellent amenities, a great leasing team, and an exceptional maintenance team is essential—and this team goes above and beyond to meet those needs.
When I recently moved into a new unit that had been vacant for a while, I encountered several issues: the microwave wasn’t working, the... apartment was drafty, the garbage disposal was malfunctioning, my bedroom curtain/shade was stuck, and I even saw a spider. I submitted my requests over the weekend and by first thing Monday, Venetia was already on top of things. She tackled the garbage disposal, assessed the microwave, inspected the draft in my bedroom, and arranged for pest control to address the spider issue.
Arnie, as the maintenance manager, took the lead in coordinating the larger fixes. By the end of Monday, he and Venetia had the curtain/shade working again. Arnie also found a draft stopper for my door and made sure a replacement microwave was ordered. Today, Arnie and another team member worked together to install the new microwave and ensure everything was in perfect working order.
The teamwork and communication between Arnie and Venetia were exceptional. Venetia’s efficiency, attention to detail, and proactive approach ensured nothing fell through the cracks, while Arnie’s leadership and expertise kept the process moving smoothly. They both played a crucial role, and it’s clear they all take pride in their work.
Grateful doesn’t even begin to describe how I feel. Arnie, Venetia, and their team are kind, personable, skilled, and incredibly efficient. A maintenance team can make or break an apartment complex, and this team is an absolute treasure. I hope The Crescent recognizes their value and does everything possible to keep them!
