I haven’t seen not a roach or mouse since I moved here. I pay my rent, I mind my business and I am at peace. I wish we could get washing machines but that is my only complaint. My neighbors are friendly and it’s quiet at night. My son is doing well at the neighborhood elementary school. This was the fresh start in Essex I needed. Hoping to stay until I can buy a house.

I wanted the 16 month term and they only gave me the 12 month. The places are infested still and the exterminators don't do their job properly. They get an attitude with you if you don't pay the full amount every month and there's hidden fees they don't tell you about.

This is an honest review. If this is your first place or you just need somewhere to stay and you aren’t too picky, I’d say to move here. I can’t say I recommend this property to anyone looking for a classy living experience though.
Since I moved in here a month ago, I’ve had many issues that I found *after* I moved in that have been unaddressed by management. It’s nearly impossible to get ahold of them by phone since they don’t answer and they don’t respond to emails either. I went to the... office in person and the most answer I’ll get is “we’ll have someone look into it” and of course that doesn’t happen.
The community can also get very dirty and smelly as the residents leave their garbage on the curb/sidewalk. Management doesn’t collect garbage every day, so there’s sometimes mountains of garbage bags/food sitting and rotting on the sidewalk. People are sometimes unable to even park in their parking space because there’s so much garbage spilling into the streets. It’s disgusting.
The laundry facilities can also get quite dirty. There are kids who run around on top of the laundry machines with their dirty shoes and people usually leave trash on the machines and floors.
I will say that the houses look very nice, and the community (when clean) is quite beautiful too. There’s also a food lion and several convenience stores/fast food restaurants nearby within walking distance. There’s also access to the Orange bus line which can take you into the city/work if you don’t drive.
Overall I can’t say I’d recommend this property unless you don’t mind dealing with a few of the unpleasant aspects, but this can be a good place if you’re looking for somewhere to live.

This place is horrible. There are mouse everywhere. Management is well aware and does nothing. If you don’t want to wake up in the middle of the night to find a mouse in your bed, I suggest you look somewhere else. Also, maintenance does patch jobs instead of addressing the real issues. I can’t wait for my lease to be up.
